Before We Begin

A few things you may be wondering about therapy, our work together, and what to expect

Insurance & Cost

I do not accept health insurance.

I value having the freedom to provide care based on your individual needs rather than an insurance company’s definition of what is “medically necessary.” Working outside of insurance allows our work to remain private and gives us greater flexibility in determining the pace, focus, and approach of your therapy.

If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement for up to 80% of your sessions. I’m happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company and I work with Thrizer to make this process simpler for you.

Therapy Investment

Choosing private-pay therapy is an investment in having a therapeutic relationship that is centered entirely around you, not your insurance company. Therapy is an investment of time, energy and money and I take that seriously when working with you, I want you to get the most out of our time together.

My fee is $200 for a 50 minute session. Sessions occur weekly, bi weekly, and monthly depending on your needs and goals. FSA and HSA payments are gladly accepted.

My fee is based on10 years in the field and continued education, training and inspiration to bring you a thoughtful, well rounded, evidenced based approach to growth and change.
